Do you have a website for your business or some sort of web presence that helps you market your product or service (i.e. Facebook page, MySpace page, LinkedIn profile, YouTube videos, etc.)?

"No"..."All the newer shops are into the digital and online operation. At my age, I’m not interested in that. For a younger person that’s good!”

How long has your business been on Lancaster Ave?

"80 yrs at this same location"... “[The other day I took a picture with] a man who bought his 1st bike here in 1949. He was so excited the store was still open, he had to come in and say hello”

What do you enjoy about your location?

“ I love the people in this neighborhood”

What makes your business unique or different?

“If someone came in with a bike from 1950 without bike wheels, I would know what to do with it”

Why do your customers choose you over the competition? Why should I come here and not some place else?

“I deal with this neighborhood and this neighborhood they can’t afford $1000/$2000 bikes. We have to deal with the bread and butter stuff”

Are you developing anything new for your business?

“At this point at my age, I want to start to slow down"... "I got to turn [this business] over to someone who’s young and wants to work. Someone who wants to go with the people, and that’s the most important thing of all, you have to be able to connect with the people. That’s the most important thing, you have to be able to know your product, know what the people want, that’s the main thing.”…”We’re interested in training somebody and making sure Wolff Cycle stays for another 80 years”.
